Participate in the Sea Turtle Conservation programmes on Cousine Island

Meet our guests of honor

Turtle Nesting Season

Sea Turtle Preservation

Share in a life-changing experience with one of our dedicated conservation staff as they monitor a nesting sea turtle or hatchlings on their journey to the sea. Endagered and critically endangered turtles return time and again to Cousine’s tropical beaches to lay their eggs.

Where can I go?

Guests are welcome to explore the island on the dedicated trails to preserve our conservation efforts. Guided tours will provide you with more “behind the scenes” information and access.

What is the best time of year to see turtles?

Nesting females occur from Sept to February and hatchlings from Dec to April. See our Eco Calendar for details.

Ready to Go?
