Another great year has come to an end and it is with fond memories that we think back to all that has happened on Cousine over the past 12 months…
Chef Guy Abel rejoined the Cousine Island Team after spending some time abroad.
Sunseeker Cruises Seychelles started operating, bringing visitors to Cousine to experience the nature and enjoy Guy and Jerrina’s authentic Kreole cooking.
Jerrina Magnan the assistant chef came 5th in the annual Seychelles Culinary Competition.
The Seychelles White-eye population continued to thrive, as did the Seychelles Magpie population.
In August the Hawksbill Turtle breeding season started with the first female nesting in front of Villa Tok-Tok, laying 181 eggs.
We welcomed journalists and film crews who came to report on their island experiences.
Couples were united in marriage and honeymooners celebrated the beginning of lives together.
Guests arrived as strangers and left as friends.
We also welcomed back old familiar faces.
And finally, the tortoise family received 10 more members making the total Aldabran Giant Tortoise population on Cousine a total of 30!
We take this opportunity to thank everyone for your support over the past year and we wish you a prosperous and happy New Year!
